Academic Support
Educational Assessment
Each woman at Redwood Family Center (RFC) is offered education support. The process begins by meeting with their case manager to assess their educational needs, such as completing their high school diploma or GED. Clients can attend all necessary classes, complete program requirements, and receive their high school diploma or GED while at RFC.
Continued Education Cost-Sharing
Many RFC program graduates desire to help other women achieve long-term sobriety. As such, they’ve become drug and alcohol counselors, case managers, social workers, and mentors to others struggling with addiction at RFC and recovery providers. RFC will pay for half of continued education fees for women wanting to pursue additional academic degrees, professional training, or certifications for substance use disorder.
