Clean and Sober Living
"Scholarship" Program
The fentanyl epidemic and dramatic increase in the demand for substance disorder treatment, homelessness services, inflation, and cost of living make private donations more imperative than ever. Consequently, Redwood Family Center (RFC) regularly seeks donations to provide “scholarships” for long-term supported clean and sober transitional housing for any woman desiring help who doesn’t qualify for government funding or can’t afford services.
No Woman Turned Away
RFC never wants to turn away any woman wanting sobriety, housing, and an opportunity to transform her life. The donations raised to scholarship a woman and her children are critical to achieving long-term sobriety, independence, and productive community membership.

Mentoring Program
At RFC, mentors are matched with a woman or mother to share their experience, strength, or hope through discipleship and meaningful time. Regular one-on-one meetings with mentors allow RFC clients to strengthen their relationship with the Lord through modeling and encouragement. Clients form deep connections and build supportive relationships with mentors that aid in their recovery journey.
At RFC, we have many opportunities for those desiring to give their time and talents to impact the community. Please let us know if you have a skill that’s not listed but would like to serve!
The staff at RFC offered me an opportunity to advocate for myself in bringing my daughter home from foster care. For the first time, I had the opportunity to heal in a safe environment while gaining healthy support that aided my desire to build a relationship with God and find purpose in my new life as a sober mother.
